"Around my Junior year of high school, I was really struggling with feeling like the work I was doing was for nothing. I grew up with a passion and love for both football and basketball. I knew I wanted to continue to play football after high school, but I found myself as a backup and bench player. I was frustrated and confused, and I found myself questioning God, wondering why I was in this position and how this dream I had of playing college football was still possible. God helped me change my perspective, and I found purpose through scripture. WHATEVER I do, as long as I am doing it to glorify Jesus and to spread His kingdom, I will have peace knowing I am submitting myself to the plan God has for my life."

Growing up I would say I was a Christian, but never truly followed God’s word and had a relationship with him. When I got to college within a month, I felt broken, lonely, and struggled with knowing my purpose. I decided to go to God with my struggles and he changed my life around. I created a relationship with him and he made me feel loved and forgiven. Now I know I have a purpose in life which is to glorify God and do whatever I can to allow others to also experience God’s life changing love.
